5 ways to use essential oils
Hello again, from team mala prayer! We're so excited to launch our brand new essential oils collection. They're 100% natural, and we're starting our offering with six core scents: lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, orange, and cedar wood. Here are a few wonderful ways to use your essential oils, any place and time in your life.
On your mala
Dab your essential oil on a volcanic rock lava
, as the porous rock will absorb the scent and keep it close by throughout your practice. It's an easy and simple way to remind yourself to relax and enjoy.
With the popularity of diffusers in the home now, drop a few of your favorite scented essential oils into the water and let it fill the air!
In a bath
Infuse any relaxing bath with a few drops of essential oil! Combine 5-20 drops (or whatever your preference) with a carrier oil (some recommend jojoba oil) and add it in after the water is running. Soak, and take a minute for yourself.
Our team loves to carry a little 10ml with us in our day to day lives, as even a quick whiff of lavender oil can significantly improve our mood in an instant! Pick a scent that suits your day, and enjoy.
When wearing the oil topically, don't forget to add your essential oils to a carrier oil (jojoba, argan, and almond oil are suggestions). If you're not sure if an essential oil will work on your skin, be sure to just test on a small area before applying widely!
