Guided meditation can be a great way into meditating, if it’s something that you struggle with.
There are a variety of apps around, or even guided meditations on Youtube that you can use if you want to have a voice guiding you, rather than sitting in silence.
There are many different styles of meditation, from zazen in the Zen tradition where you sit and watch your thoughts, to Kriya Meditation in the Hatha Yoga Tradition which is more focused on your attention and visualizations, to guided meditations which can often be more of an internal journey.
Find what works for you, and if you’re new to meditation it can be great to have someone guiding you through, giving instructions, and keeping your mind on track.
